A
very unique and showy new European Spirea noted for its massive dome shaped
blooms, attractive blue foliage and superb autumn colors. The blooms appear from early
summer to mid-summer. The pure white blooms lighten up a garden and
contrast wonderfully the large deep green leaves. The plant is quite
sturdy and it holds its blooms up in a neat fashion.

What People are saying ... I hate spireas but this one is really beautiful. I saw it first without flowers and thought the foliage was sublime. The foliage is a lovely soft blue/green, and decently sized leaves (not those puny little spirea leaves) with purple stems. The flowers are very nice, not those hairballs like other spireas. I prune it hard after flowering and it still looks fabulous.I grow it with Thalictrum rochebrunianum which has 8 foot tall pencil thin purple stems. Sarah, Zone 6, Landscape Designer.
