visited a nursery in Germany called Grune Kugel but had no luck
finding this plant, however we have been growing it in our
garden and have been very impressed with its dwarf round habit
and dark green foliage. It appears that Grune Kugel translates
into “Green Ball” and this may explain why we found plenty of
tightly sheared boxwood but no Thuja at that German nursery.
