Bold
and brightly colored flowers are unrivaled in the plant world. Flowers are
either mopheads: snowball-like flowers, or lace caps. Select both flower types
and a good range of colors! Flower buds are over-wintered on previous year's
growth, so be careful not to prune off the buds. Hydrangea is fast and

the answer. Developed in Europe where growth regulators are prohibited, so
growers can finish a tight full plant without chemicals, shearing or pruning off

with large flowers characterizes this new German hybrid. Originally developed in
Europe where growth regulators are prohibited, so growers can now finish a tight
full plant without chemicals, shearing or pruning off flower buds.
Clear Pink colored flowers are the largest in the
series. The leaves are very glossy and exhibit an extremely high level of mildew
resistance. Flowers are long lasting and change to an attractive green with age.

very special. Mallet calls it a plant with a great deal of personality. A solid
plant with strong stems, and small clear green,
dentate leaves. The blooms are tight hemispheres of large size. Bloom
color varies greatly according to the soil pH, and when grown a pH of 6 it has
blooms of varied color ranging from dark pink to deep blue.

Funny name, great plant, Pink Shira is
a standout hydrangea noted for its compact growth, strong stems and reliable
long-lasting blooms. Flowers emerge green and become infused with red and then
transform to shades of rich pink. Acid soils deliver tones of lavender purple.
Discovered by cut flower grower Tony Thompson of Kingston Spring, TN after
watching it bloom for eight years straight. In that time it bloomed even when
other varieties were damaged by frost.
