Spring Meadow Nursery, Inc. is known for its innovation and cutting edge plants and facilities.

Our liners are propagated by cuttings and are rooted in state of the art computer controlled greenhouses which are outfitted with traveling irrigators, high pressure fog system, open style roofs, shading, and heated floors. 

In 2008 we rooted over 10 million cuttings.  We continue to expand our operations every year and currently have over 20 acres of production area with plans to add at least two more acres in 2010.  Much of our growth can be attributed toward our focus on introducing new and exciting varieties thorough our Proven Winners® Color Choice® brand.  We travel extensively throughout the world in search of new varieties, in addition to some of our own breeding efforts on site.

We are continually looking for qualified candidates to strengthen our staff.  Our success as a company is directly related to the success of our team members.  Without them we would not be where we are today. 

In addition to full-time positions that may be available, we also offer internships to those looking to increase their experience level while still attending school.  Although each internship will initially be focused on one of our production departments, time is made available in each department in order to gain a well rounded perspective of the full production cycle.

SALES PERSON

Spring Meadow Nursery, a leading propagation nursery and Proven Winners shrub originator, seeks a sales management professional that is passionate, motivated and results orientated.   Qualifications: Degree in Horticulture, Business or related field with a minimum 5 years of increasing experience in sales. Must be highly motivated, organized, results oriented, as well as, possess - sales, leadership, communication, interpersonal skills.  Strong attention to detail is imperative. Responsibilities include: Develop sales plan and strategies to achieve revenue growth. Lead, train, coach, oversee and motivate inside sales team to meet goals. Deliver excellent customer service and customer relations. Increase sales to new and existing customers. Provide growers and retailers opportunities to grow utilizing Proven Winners shrubs and Spring Meadow liners. International Horticultural Intern Program

Spring Meadow Nursery offers international horticulture students and recent graduates the opportunity to intern at our nursery. This internship is available only to those who are fluent in English.

This is not a formal program and interns will learn by working. We will make the effort to get interns out to view other local nurseries and assist the intern in finding local housing. Interns are paid a decent hourly wage that should adequately cover room, board and provide some spending money. 

This is a great opportunity to learn from a leading U.S. nursery. Interns are encouraged to ask plenty of questions and to use every opportunity to learn.
