Arctic Sun™     Cornus sanquinea 'Cato' ppaf' '

A remarkable new dwarf yellow twig dogwood that fits right into today's gardens and landscapes.

Arctic Sun is extremely compact selection of the industry favorite 'Winter Flame' that is roughly 1/2 the height and with twice as many branches.  In the garden it provides more color because it has more stems. In production it gives you a beefier plant with less inputs. Superior disease resistance compared to Midwinter Fire and Winter Flame.

Andre, breeder of ‘Winter Flame’ brings us another special Cornus with beautiful yellow stems tipped with red. It’s a spectacular show in the winter sunlight. This variety is dwarf in form, reaching a height of 3 to 4 feet. Cornus usually reach a height of 8 to 10 feet, making Arctic Suna great breakthrough for smaller gardens or residential landscapes.

This wonderful shrub will add sensational color in the fall with its golden yellow foliage. It is extremely beautiful in the winter with its yellow red tipped stems. Bring the outdoors in and use Arctic Sun as a cut stem for holiday arrangements or for season long color indoors.
